This Sunday, January 15th,
marks the one year anniversary of the opening of Royal Bahrain Hospital. Last
year, on the same date, the hospital opened its doors to patients with a soft
opening, starting with the operation of a few departments. One year later, the
hospital is in full operation, with 23 medical disciplines, 65-beds, and a
state-of-the-art diagnostic facility.
In celebration of a successful
year, Royal Bahrain Hospital is launching its ‘Anniversary Week’ Promotions.
“We want to show our loyal patients our genuine appreciation and also to invite
everyone to come and experience our excellent services.” States Dr. Ravi Preet
Singh, Chief Operating Officer at the hospital.
Within one year, the hospital has
seen over 32,000 patient visits, with people coming for consultations,
investigations, treatments and check-ups. “We’re proud that over 400 surgeries
have been successfully performed many of them major surgeries such as knee and
hip replacements, and bariatric surgeries. We strive to get the best medical
talent from all over the world.” States Dr. Abdul Gaffar, renowned orthopedic
surgeon and Medical Director at Royal Bahrain Hospital. “Additionally, we’re
extremely happy with the patient profile which is represented from all walks of
life from over 72 nationalities!”
Kicking off on Saturday (January
14th), ‘Anniversary Week’ will have a series of special days where
patients can get free consults with some of the top doctors residing in the
Kingdom. “We’re also giving everyone 20% off on lab and radiology
investigations.” adds Dr. Ravi Preet Singh.
